...born and raised on the New Jersey (USA) coast, with a father who quietly whistled 'oldies' while concentrating on his work and a mother, who brought with the radio's help the world of opera into the house, Elcilyn rediscovered her voice in her chosen home of Stuttgart.

There's a song for every situation, for every space and for every person. Elcilyn is interested is finding that 'certain something', whether in concert form or in restaurant, café or private parties. Her repertoire includes known and not-so-well-known songs and ballads sung in smooth jazz style - usually as duo with piano, but also in trio or quartett. Christmas songs of course in the Christmas season! And Elcilyn's short solo-program with Afro-American spirituals is a small jewel.
